VivoCity is termed a grand patron’ of the Elephant Parade Singapore. It is Singapore’s largest retail and lifestyle centre opened officially in December 2006 and located at the Harbour Front. It was designed by Japanese architect, Toyo Ito (Cheong 2011).
ABN AMRO Private Banking and Elephant Parade with Sotheby’s Auction Houses presented the Elephant Parade Singapore Auction in three auctioning sessions at St Regis Hotel and Fullerton Hotel, Singapore, January 2012. The total raised was S$1,781,000. The highest price was S$62,000 for Elephantasm by Filipino artist, Ronald Ventura. Reproduced replicas (hand painted, numbered limited edition) are offered for sale at the Elephant Parade shop at Singapore Zoo and web-shop elephantparade.com/shop.
