FOUR SEASONS LANDAA GIRAAVARU MALDIVES

FOUR SEASONS LANDAA GIRAAVARU MALDIVES

THINK THE MALDIVES MIGHT NOT HAVE ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU BOTH ENTERTAINED? The Four Seasons resort begs to differ. Not only is there a vast array of watersports on offer (some of which you’ll probably never have heard of – Seabob, anyone?), but you can also scuba dive at the world-class dive centre take a dolphin-spotting boat trip, assist conservationists at the island’s turtle-rehab centre (cute!) or help rebuild coral reefs with marine biologists. But you might want to set aside some time in your schedule for a leisurely meal or two, because the restaurants are excellent.

We’d recommend the Italian, Blu, for its stunning seafood offering – the tuna carpaccio at lunch and the baked lobster with purple potatoes, capsicum aioli and caviar at dinner are not to be missed. But before you get carried away with the impressive activity and foodie choices, book yourself in to the Ayurvedic Immersions programme, which focuses on health through diet, exercise and sleep. Guests can undertake a session over the course of their one-, two- or even three- week holiday (perfect for the time-rich) and, following a private consultation, your Ayurvedic physician will create a bespoke schedule for you with the island’s spa therapists, resident yogi and specialist chefs.
