Gin Sling
You will need for 1 glass:
4-5 Ice cubes 3 parts gin
juice 1 fresh lemon soda water
1 part cherry brandy
1 Put the Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.
2 Pour the lemon juice, cherry brandy and gin over the ice.
3 Shake until a frost forms.
4 Pour without straining into a highball glass.
5 Top with soda water and serve.
Singapore Gin Sling
You will need for 1 glass:
6-8 Ice cubes 3 drops Angostura
juice 1 fresh lemon bitters
juice 1 fresh orange (or 1 slice fresh orange
2 tablespoons canned, 1 slice fresh lemon unsweetened juice) 1 maraschino cherry 1 part cherry brandy (optional)
3 parts gin soda water
1 Put 4-5 Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.
2 Add the fruit juices, cherry brandy and gin.
3 Put the bitters over the mixture.
4 Shake the mixture until a frost forms.
5 Put 2 fresh Ice cubes into a collins glass.
6 Pour mixture without straining into glass.
7 Garnish with the slices of fruit.
8 Drop in the cherry.
9 Top with soda water and serve.
