Gin Sour

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 3 parts gin

1 part fresh lemon juice 1 maraschino cherry 1 teaspoon sugar or (optional) sugar syrup

1 Put the Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.

2 Pour the lemon juice, sugar and gin over the ice.

3 Shake until a frost forms.

4 Strain and pour into a sour glass; drop in the cherry and serve.

Outback

You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 1 part cherry brandy

1 part dry French 3 parts gin vermouth

1 Put the Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.

2 Pour the vermouth, cherry brandy and gin over the ice.

3 Shake vigorously, strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.

You will need for 1 glass:

1 part fresh or

4-5 Ice cubes 1 part dry French vermouth

1 part sweet Italian vermouth unsweetened canned orange juice 3 parts gin

1 Put the Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.

2 Pour the vermouths, orange juice and gin over the ice.

3 Shake vigorously, strain and pour into a chilled martini glass.
