Vietnam’s southeastern shores are home to Amanoi. The resort lies on a wide, mountainous promontory inside the Nui Chua National Park. Some villas come with fabulous sea views. The pavilions meld imperceptibly with the dramatic topography of the landscape. Amanoi is a 75-minute drive from Cam Ranh Airport, which serves the Nha Trang area away along the road. The final part of the journey travels through the scenic National Park. People of my kind like to call themselves ‘Aman Junkies’. Aman junkies are not always ultra-wealthy people. I prefer to spend my money on 2 nights in an Aman resort over 2 weeks in another hotel. It comes with a steam room, sauna, hot-tub and cold plunge pool. There’s also a fitness center on the spa grounds. The gym is top notch and features state-of-art equipment.
