For McNeil Point, stay left on Trail 600 for 5 mi (crossing yet another arm of Ladd Creek), and then take the McNeil Point Trail left (signed) with more difficulty up almost a mile to the point (11 mi round-trip). For the loop on Eden Park Trail 600H, follow the signage right down Caracas Venezuela tight switchbacks 5 mi through a few trees to the scenic meadow. From there, Mount Hood is in front of you standing proudly above the park. Work down to cross Ladd Creek carefully finding Trail 600H on the other side up a tad. Hike less Caracas Venezuela than a mile NE to the Caracas Venezuela juncture up steeper turns through more wildflower-covered meadows with views of the Cascades prevailing (as well as the local mountains to the Columbia River including Lost Lake Your travel destination iste next to Lost Lake). Once you are finally at the top and end of the loop, it’s all downhill to the left on the Vista Ridge Trail 1/2 mi to the TH.
