Honolulu Hawaii Travel Guide

Are you planning a trip to Maui? If you don’t have a trip planned yet you will want to go once you learn about all of the fun things you can do while you are there. Maui is the second largest Hawaiian island making it a great vacation destination.

The first thing you need to plan when you are thinking about a trip to Maui is where to stay. There are so many options. You could stay in a hotel or you could choose to stay in the Maui Condo Rentals. Each has their own benefits, hotels can be all inclusive, but a condo is more private and offers you more space and better access to the beach. No matter what you choose you will have a great time in Hawaii.

If you happened to be in Maui on a day that it rains there are still so many things you can do. If you are on the Lahaina shore you can swing by all of the shopping and outlet malls. A place you must go is to Hilo Hattie. Hilo Hattie is a native store to Hawaii allowing you to get unique items that you can’t find anywhere else. If you like to find priceless souvenirs this would be the best place to go.

If shopping is not your thing and you are on the south shore of Maui then you can check out the many areas to go snorkeling. If you like being outside and seeing new things’ snorkeling is the way to go. You can see so many fish that you won’t be able to see in other areas. Many snorkeling trips offer full day excursions including food and a warm shower. Another great outdoor activity is to go for a bike ride on Mr. Haleakala. Going there for a sunrise or sunset is an amazing idea. The sun is very beautiful to see from the mountain. Also going up there at night to stargaze is really fun. Since you are on a mountain you will see a lot more stars than on lower land with a light of streetlights. There are a lot of different activities that can be done on the mountain; it really has something for everyone.

All of these activities have been in the south short of Maui, but what is you are staying on the north side of the island? Well the north shore has better surf, making it a great spot for surfers. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced surfer you can get a lot of time on the waves in the north shore. If you haven’t ever surfed before you can take lessons and rent all of your equipment. Many people try surfing for the first time when they are in Hawaii.

No matter where you stay or what you plan on doing Maui has got it all. From great accommodations to a plethora of things to do Maui is where you should spend your next vacation.
