You will need for 1 glass:

4-5 Ice cubes 2 drops Angostura

juice 1 fresh lemon bitters

1 part kirsch about 1 teaspoon port

3 parts gin

1 Put the Ice cubes into a cocktail shaker.

2 Pour the lemon juice, kirsch and gin over the ice.

3 Dash the bitters into the mixture.

4 Shake until frost forms, strain and pour into a sour glass.

5 Top with the port and serve.

Exotic cocktails

Gin Sazerac

You will need for 1 glass: 1 cube lump sugar 2-3 Ice cubes 2 drops Angostura gin bitters 1 slice fresh lemon rind about 4 drops Pernod

1 Put the lump sugar into an old-fashioned glass.

2 Pour the bitters on to the sugar.

3 Add the Pernod and swill the mixture around the glass.

4 Put in the Ice cubes and pour the gin over the ice.

5 Stir gently, squeeze the lemon rind over the drink and serve.
